Sunshine Star's New Life PT 1

He awoke from his sleep with the sound of a screech..It must've come from the train..Oh how he longed to be back in his mares arms..
How excited he was to meet her again and see her..Lyra Heartstrings, the music mare from ponyville..He was so excited he barely heard the
Ticket Taker.."hey are you ok?" The Ticket Taker asked. "oh yes." said the pony.. "i'll take your ticket now sir.." the pony gave the
Ticket Taker his ticket.. "enjoy your stay in ponyville mister? um?" "Sunshine Star." said the pony.. "oh yes..mr. Sunshine Star.."
Said the taker..Sunshine Star took his luggage and left the train awaiting what the sight of ponyville..The moment he stepped out of
that train he felt like he would enjoy it in ponyville..The sight of the ponies young and old having fun in ponyville made Sunshine
Star feel warm inside..The sun was warm as well as it beat down on his mane..The pony looked amazing..His red eyes flashed in the sun..
His blue mane was shining as well..The sound of pegasi in the air made the Pegasus feel at home again.. He stepped off the train and
walked into the town..It was a busy town with ponies going about their daily lives and the fillies playing with each other..But
Sunshine Star was after one goal..To see the mare he loved once again..As he headed into town ponies all around him were staring at
him..Then all of the sudden he bumped into a pony he has never seen before..She had a pink frilly mane, Balloons for her cutie mark,
Was pink in color, And she was smiling the biggest smile he has ever seen.. "HI!!" Said the pink pony. "I'M PINKIE PIE!! WELCOME TO
PONYVILLE!!" She said with glee.. "Um..Thanks Pinkie.." Said Sunshine Star who was clearly thrown off by the pink pony.. "YOU'RE
GONNA HAVE THE BESTEST BEST TIME HERE!! WE HAVE PARTIES, FUN, PARTIES, OH AND DID I MENTION WE HAVE PARTIES??" said Pinkie Pie..
Sunshine Star chuckled a bit finding the pony a bit silly.."Hey Pinkie, are there any houses for sale here?" Asked Sunshine Star.
Pinkie Pie put her hoof on her head indicating that she was thinking.. "OH I KNOW A PLACE YOU CAN STAY!!" she said with a smile..
Pinkie Pie pointed to a house that looked completely empty and creepy.. "Um..thanks Pinkie..i kinda needed a place to stay." said
Sunshine Star with a smile.. "YOU'RE WELCOME!! I CAN'T WAIT TO HAVE FUN SOME MORE!!" said pinkie pie..She gave Sunshine a hug and
hopped away.."what a funny pony." Sunshine said to himself.."I can't wait to hang out with her." then he walked to his new house..


After he got his house, he decided he needed some bits..So Sunshine went to look at the wanted ads..Nothing came up on the boards in
town..Sunshine Star was dissapointed..His first day in Ponyville and already he was failing at life..He walked around the town for
a bit trying to find a job..Sunshine star ended up bumping into a small little filly..She was carrying 2 saddlebags that were both full
Of apples..The filly spoke in a southern accent.. "Sorry mister..Are ya ok?" said the filly.. "Yes." He said.. "I'm fine.." "Would ya
like to buy some apples?" asked the filly.."I'm sorry but i-" Sunshine Star was interupted by another pony who walked up to the filly..
"Applebloom, ah told you you should watch out for other ponies." said the mare in the same southern accent as the filly.." Ah'm sorry
Sis..Ah just got distracted because Ah was thinking of ways to get mah cutie mark" said applebloom..Hearing that made Sunshine Star
Feel warm inside..It was so adorable that a filly still wanted to find her cutie mark..Of course finding one was hard work for him too
when he was a little colt..He finally got his cutie mark when he discovered his talent of being strong..That's why he had an anvil on his
flank.."It's alright" He said.."It's no big deal" "Say.." said the older looking pony.. "Ah'm mighty sure ah haven't see ya'll here
before..Ah'm Applejack..And this is mah sister Applebloom..We work at Sweet Apple Acres.." "nice to meet you Applejack." said Sunshine
Star.."I kinda need help..I'm looking for a job since i just moved here from Pegatropolis..Do you know any jobs that are open?" He
asked.."Well." said Applejack rubbing her chin.. "Ah think Ah can give ya a job bucking apples.." she said.. "Really?" said Sunshine
Star.."Thank you so much..I'll be by tomorrow to help Applejack." "Alright partner" Said AJ.. "Here's a free sample..On the house"
Applejack handed Sunshine Star a Shiny Red Apple.. "Hey thanks AJ" said Sunshine.. "See ya tomorrow.." said Applejack.. "Oh and by the
way!!" AJ screamed."whats yer name?" "Sunshine Star!!" he shouted back.. "see you tomorrow!!" and with that he walked away, feeling
lucky that he got a job at last..



1 day later Sunshine Star did his job at sweet apple acres and when work was over, he decided to go flying a bit..Just as he was about
to take off, he saw a blue blur and then he was thrown back..The pegasus that crashed into him looked tough..She had a Rainbow Mane,
She was blue in color,  And she had a Rainbow Lightning like cutie mark.. "Oh..sorry" said the rainbow pony giggling a bit.. Sunshine Star got
back up and stretched his wings out..The Rainbow pony chuckled a bit.."So..looks like your new to this place huh?" said the pony..
"Ya" said Sunshine Star trying to regain stance after being thrown off by the crash landing of the rainbow pony.. "And who are you?"
said Sunshine.."who am i?" said the rainbow pony.. "WHO AM I?, I'M THE FASTEST FLYER IN ALL OF EQUESTRIA! I'M THE ONE, THE ONLY!!"
"Rainbow Dash?" said Sunshine Star sarcasticly.. Dash looked at Sunshine star with shocked eyes "Ok..who told you?" she said.."Dash..
We talk about you all the time in Pegatropolis." said Sunshine. "You're kinda a legend.." "Of course i am!" said RD.."Why wouldn't
i be? I'm the fastest pony alive..And i'm the only pony to ever successfully perform the Sonic Rainboom.." "I must say..You are an
impressive pony.." said Sunshine Star. "nice to meet you Dash..I'm Sunshine Star." He stuck out a hoof and shook it with RD.."Nice to
Meet you too SS" said RD..SS? Did she really just say that? he didn't mind really.. "Well, i gotta go Dash..Can't wait to hang out
more.." "Later SS" said RD..and with that she flew away.. SS trotted away liking the sound of his nickname..



As SS walked on he decided to go and visit the library that he just noticed..He felt like reading and felt like trying a new book..
He knocked on the door and a little dragon popped up behind it.. "Something i can help you with?" asked the dragon.. "Um..Is there
a pony present?" asked SS.. just then a purple pony popped out from behind the door and smiled and him.. "Oh hello.." she said.."My
name is Twilight Sparkle..And who are you?" "Sunshine Star" he said.. "It's so nice to meet you Sunshine Star." said Twilight.. She
shook hooves and then they went into the library.. "Are you a librarian Twilight?" asked SS.. "Oh no." Said Twilight.. "I live here.."
SS looked shocked.. "You live in a library?" he asked.. "Yep.." said Twilight. "I love books so i decided to live in a library.." she
said.. "That's cool.. I'm looking for a copy of "Daring Do And The Tower Of Doom".. Do you have a copy Twilight?" asked Sunshine..
Twilight looked around her bookcase trying to find the book SS was talking about.. "Ah yes.." she said, and gave the book to SS.. "That
one is my favorite of them all.." "Thanks." said Sunshine Star.. "I'll return it once i'm done.." "Ok." said Twilight. "Well i guess i
should get back to my studies..Nice meeting you Sunshine Star." Twilight smiled and SS smiled back..then he left with the book in his
saddlebag..



When he got to carousel boutique, his heart stopped..Inside was the mare he wanted to see..Lyra Heartstrings..His heart thumped and
just as he got to the door, He saw that...She was With another Mare....A pony with candy for her cutie mark and was slightly brownish..
...Sunshine Star felt his heart break into pieces and was just about to turn away but then found himself face to face
with a white Unicorn..Her mane was purple and she had diamonds for her cutie mark.. "Oh." she said.. "I am so sorry darling..Are you
ok?" "Ya." SS said in a low sad voice.. "Oh dear are you sure you're ok? You can tell Rarity what happened.." She said.. SS looked up
at Rarity and frowned.. "I-I lost my mare..The one mare i Loved is with another.." Said SS.. "I loved her.. For years.."
Rarity felt a bit saddend by the news.."Oh you poor dear" She said.. "There are plenty of other Mares out there.." "But there are non
like her.." Said SS.. "Non that have her attitude, Her laughter, And most of all..Her love for others.."  "If you want, you are welcome
to talk to me anytime you want darling.." Said Rarity. "Thanks." said Sunshine Star..And he walked away to be by himself..


Sunshine Star sat on a cliff overlooking Ponyville, trying to hold back tears of sadness..Little did he know that another pony
walked near him.. "Um..Are you ok?" said the pony.. SS looked up and saw a yellow pony with a flowing pink mane, And beautiful eyes..
She spoke in a soft voice and it showed that she meant no harm.. "I'm fine" SS said in a depressing voice.. "who are you?" "I'm..I'm
Fluttershy" the pony said..He didn't know why, but this mare made Sunshine Star feel better..She was so beautiful that he realized that
He wanted to spend more time with her..He smiled and said to her "I'm Sunshine Star.." They sat under the slowly sinking sun and they
Talked for a bit..As they did, SS could see the Red on Fluttershy's face ..After the sun went down SS asked Fluttershy a question that
would change everything.. "Would you like to go out to dinner somewhere with me?" he asked.. SS waited for a response.... "Sure.." said
Fluttershy.."I'll see you tomorrow Fluttershy.." said SS.. "I can't wait Sunshine" Said Fluttershy in her calm voice..Then they walked
away..SS stared at the starry sky on his way home, Thinking about the wonderful time he's had in Ponyville so far..And he knew that
this was the beginning of a whole new life for him..
